Sarah Craig (them/them pronouns) is a Black queer nonbinary licensed acupuncturist and community member of Philadelphia. Craig, a compassionate yet firm practitioner, is dedicated to supporting and empowering patients on their health and wellness journeys. Craig provides personalized, mindful healing through acupuncture and complementary TCM therapies with special focuses on pain/stress management, orthopedic acupuncture, auricular acupuncture, facial acupuncture and scalp acupuncture. Their approach is influenced by trauma-informed and restorative/transformative justice principles.
Craig is originally from New York (Bronx/Valley Stream) and grew up with a love for teaching, learning, and helping out their friends and community. Craig is a graduate of Master's in Acupuncture and Doctorate of Acupuncture from Won Institute of Graduate Studies. Craig received their Bachelor's in history/sociology of science from the University of Pennsylvania. They are also a trained restorative justice circle facilitator, mediator, and accessible yoga instructor. When Craig is outside of the clinic, you can find them in Germantown or teaching yoga at Studio 34 Healing Arts in West Philadelphia. They enjoy hanging with their two cats, attending live music events, hiking, reading, and watching lots of Dropout TV and Youtube channels on pottery with their partner. Craig is the owner and operator of Sacred Currents Acupuncture.
